Toyota, Hyundai, Nissan…. GM needs to differentiate. Think bigger - 6 passenger for Soccer Moms, that mostly are hauling kids 30 miles a day max.

I mean remember when you were a kid sitting with a girlfriend “parking” did you REALLY want a big old console separating the two of you? Me neither thats why I bought a Chevy Nova with a bench front seat. No regrets there my friend – none whatsoever. Come on GM give us a Volt with a bench front seat it can’t be that hard to add…! I bet Toyota would do it if I bugged them enough.
But seriously – I won’t , because I want to buy American and I do NOT want to buy any more Oil from the middle-east. I mean why do we want our $$$ and troops going over there when electric works just fine! Did you know that what we will spend in Afghanistan next year is equal to the Healthcare Bill for the next 10 years! Seriously!
So buy a volt and if you need a bench seat maybe I’ll engineer one myself for aftermarket!

Every Hybrid and Electric on the market is 5 passenger, Gotta have 2 buckets and a console in the middle right? Well guess what? some of us nuclear familys want to be able to squeeze Grandma and Grampa in the car once in a while – and we dont care about the console! Lets make some noise to GM and make this an option!
